WE EAGERLY WAITED FOR THIS NEW OLIE, WHILE IT IS AWFULLY SHORT, IT IS RATHER INTENSE FOR KIDS 4 OR LESS...SPOOKIE OOKIE IS JUST THAT...REALLY SPOOKIE-LOOKING(FOR MY 2 AND A HALF YEAR OLD)...AT LEAST ZOWIE ISN'T AFRAID. WE HOPE THE NEW CHRISTMAS OLIE IS LONGER...THIS IS A GREAT SHOW AND WONDERFUL ANIMATION FOR KIDS PRE-PREPARED FOR SPOOKIE OOKIE.

This is a very cute video. It is spooky but never scary. My 2 1/2 year old loves it and it is still "cool" enough for my 5 year old as well. I highly reccomend this video!

Rolie Polie Olie is one of my daughter's favorite shows. I enjoy it too because it is well made, the stories are well told, and, the characters and setting are simply adorable! A Spookie Ookie Halloween is a little on the short side, being the length of the average show, but very entertaining. They are celebrating what looks like Halloween but it is differnt than most Halloween shows as there is not an emphasis on candy. I am basically dumbfounded by the reviewers who said this movie is so scary. This is ridiculous. My daughter who is to loves it. I recommend this to anyone who isn't an over sensitive nutcase. Seriously, enjoy.

My 15 month daughter and 3 year old niece love this video. The shapes and colors are great. It was hard to put away until next October!

My almost 2 yr old daughter LOVES this show. In fact, she re-acts it out as it plays. She has seen this movie a dozen times and still "screams" when he appears then laughs! Yes Spookie Ookie is a little scary but she LOVES it. She wiggles her fingers like Pollie, pats on the back of her stuff animals just like Zowie pats on Ole Spookie Ookie's back when he is sad.
She loves the pumpkins, and of corse Zowie.

I plan on buying the rest of the series.

We love Rolie Polie Olie, the Spookie Ookie Halloween is one of Logan's favorites! She was so sad that the show was no longer on but super happy she could get the videos! She loves it. Clever toon for kids 0-10, they all love them.

I highly recommend all the episodes from the Rolie Polie world created by children's author William Joyce along with Walt Disney, has been a wonderful feature for children. The clinky clanky robot world is fun, with good morals, and non-violent stories. This tape has 3 different Olie stories and in the first "The Legend of Spookie Ookie." Pappy tricks Zowie and Olie by appearing as the orange Spookie Ookie", a halloween character. But does the real Spookie Ookie arrive? In the 2nd episode "Oooh Scary," Olie and his pal Billy create a fun house to scare the younger kids, but they are the ones that get spooked. The third story is "Zowie Queen of the Pumpkins", whre Zowie meets spok-o-lanterns in the pumpkin patch at midnight.
The DVD version has these stories, plus a Halloween episode from "The Book of Pooh", and one from the show, "Out of the Box". Also an instructional feature from Disney on carving a jack-O-lantern, and another on making Halloween decorations from everday items. So you may want the DVD version.

My son has been in love with Spookie Ookie since he first saw this Halloween episode last fall, when he was about 17 months old. The video gets watched on a regular basis at our house. I like it too. I've seen it probably 20 times, and I'm still not tired of it. Now, if only they would release it on DVD...

This video is very cute for older children but my daughter is 2 and he not able to sit through the whole video. We have even noticed her having nightmares from it. We all love Rolie Polie Olie but this video is a little too scary.
