Review

5.0 out of 5 stars Cops, romance, and drama you'll love this amazing new romantic suspense series., ~reviewed by Lorhainne Eckhart

When two mismatched partners are paired up they couldn't be any more opposite. Both stubbon and strong willed Aurora and Kai put everything they have into tracking down a serial rapist, both determined in the their own way to catch the creep. And let me tell you the action and sparks fly from the first page as they try to fight the attraction burning between them. If you love the high drama of crime shows laced with tons of tension and romance then you're going to love this new romantic suspense series. Follow along with the case and Aurora and Kai.

From the Author

Roll the Dice is the second book in the Vegas series, and probably one of the most fun books I've ever written. I love the action and passion, but most of all I loved the characters from the get-go, and had a lot of fun getting them into situations that demanded their...everything!

4.0 out of 5 stars Action and hot romance September 16, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Aurora is a great romantic suspense heroine. She is a cop who is hard on the outside, soft on the inside. She's tough as nails when fighting crime, but privately she also wants a home and family of her own. Kai is not too happy when she is assigned to work with him. The blue-eyed hunk wants to be the one to take down the man who raped and killed his sister. But Aurora has her own payback agenda for her best friend. The banter between Aurora and Kai is fun and sexy and adds a welcome element of humor to the serious crime plot. Watching them fight their feelings as they fall in love is priceless. Roll the Dice has the perfect balance of suspenseful action and hot romance. Highly recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Fun Series September 18, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Here you have two protaganists fighting their attraction to each other while trying to catch a serial rapist. Much more fun and interesting to read this than to watch some of TV's tired cop shows. I give it 5 stars for plotting, putting the elements in as a good mystery writer should.

3.0 out of 5 stars good read...distracting typos September 30, 2012
By suevb
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This was a cleverly written crime story with enjoyable character development. I want to follow Aurora and company through the series. Strong female lead, banter between lovers, work partners, and secondary characters, like Ham, kept me reading through the distraction of way too many typos.
Please edit this one and I'll be happy to buy the others in the series.

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't miss a great story! September 22, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I would give this book 5 stars on the story and character building, but it gets 4 for editing issues. Sometimes I had to stop reading and try to figure out if the words were out of order, or the author was using some new expression I've never heard or read before. This issue was distracting me from the fast-paced, action-packed story too much. If someone would take the time to edit the text, this would absolutely become a 5-star book. Don't miss it!

1.0 out of 5 stars Too many clues, too little detecting! January 8, 2013
By eileen
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book frustrated me for two reasons. First, the horrible editing job obviously detracted from the story. Second, the female lead detective overlooked an endless number of clues. She should have known what was going on so much sooner. She came across as unintelligent and not a very good detective. Any half-way decent detective would have gotten the "B" clue even without knowing what she knew at that point.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ending April 5, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Loved the books hate how they Stop. They are well written right up until the end. Characters are well done plot is good but there is no ending just a stop.

5.0 out of 5 stars Multi-mystery fan April 15, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
This series, beginning with the shorter book, Partners, brings some sassy & sweet characters into a good story line, and totally sets up the beginning of Roll the Dice, which starts (& ends) 'with a bang' - literally! It's fast-pace with twists and turns, takes the reader on a great ride, which includes some rocky but steamy love interludes in the mix. Found it hard to put the book down! The last lines in this book left me dying to know who made the fatal 'bang', and very eager to read 'how and if' this hot new romance can ride & survive through the call of duty! Next book, Vegas Shuffle -- goin' in!
