Roll Down Yoga Pant by Hard Tail

I've been looking for a roll down yoga pant for a long time and have always been disappointed. They're either too long, too tight or too loose around the waist. These are perfect! They are comfortable and continue to look good after many washings (though the color does fade a little, but that's normal). I am about to buy my second pair....

These pants are the most comfortable, flattering yoga pants ever. One of my guy friends calls them my "magic pants"... I need to order more of these. I'd definitely order the smallest size you think you can get away with. I'm a size 4-6 and the mediums look slightly less fantastic than the smalls. :) Moral of the story: In the case of Hard Tail Yoga pants... the tighter the better. Anna Masteller

I liked these pant when I first got them. They are sewn really well. Usually that is the first thing I look for with quality workout clothing. I also have a degree in clothing design so I'm a little over attentive to construction details. With that said these pant are nicely made. Solid even flat stiching, nice quality wieght fabric (cotton blend lycra)not to thin. Okay, now for the not so great. For the price I would expect a gusset crotch. Also I know when clothes are made of cotton it is almost impossible to find a fabric that doesn't fade unfortunately you also expect that clothing companies would take into account the fact that these pants are made for people who use them primarily for fitness purposes. I run, do kickboxing, step aerobics, lift wieghts, hike, and do ballet in them and no I don't want to hand wash them in cold water, hang dry, and lightly press them when I know that I'm just going to sweat in them. Okay, so they fade a little, oh and they are uber long (I'm only five foot tall), but they truly are constructed to give you a great looking backside. These pants would be the best if they made them with the gusset crotch and out of suplex, but overall really comfortable pants that make your butt look great.
***Felt I had to add on to my previous review. These pants do fade when you wash them. They still hold up pretty good but after a few washings they did fade to a much lighter color.

I have been doing yoga in Hard tail pants for about 12-14 years. I love the way they fit and have bought pair after pair. Yesterday in class, I noticed that a student next to me wearing black pants did a forward fold and her pants were fairly see through. When I got home, I thought - these are not cheap pants, I am sure that I am fine but maybe I'll check. Not only could you see skin tone, you could make out every detail of the lace on my underwear. (The pants are only 6 months old.) I am absolutely mortified and won't be able to wear any of my Hard Tails ever again. If you love the Hard Tails, make sure to bend over in front of a mirror before you go in public!

I have to say that these are probably the best yoga pants that I have. I love the fit even after many washings. I have been partically concerned about the length and the length on these pants are great. I would highly recommend.

I bought these pants recently and I notice that I do more laundry so that I'll be able to wear THESE pants to as many yoga classes as possible. They are awesome.

I agree with others that the quality and fit are great. However if you're under 5'0 like me the length will probably be too long for you. And I've seen them MUCH cheaper elsewhere after my purchase, of course! Superb seller, with very fast shipping.

I love Hardtail pants. I've been living in them since I first discovered them, 6 years ago. Unfortunately, my first pair was on its last legs, so I searched Amazon & found this pair for FAR less than most other sites!!! They are comfy, very dark black, & I never want to take them off. They also arrived quickly.

The only surprise I had was their length. I'm 5'9" & usually have to let out the seams of my exercise pants, in order for them to be long enough. Not so with these! They're QUITE long! I can wear them with a slight heel (1"-2") & they're the perfect length. I may have to shorten them a little bit so they don't drag with super flats, tho. What a nice change for someone so tall!

I saw other women around town wearing these, and bought a pair in black for my girlfriend as a gift. O.M.G. do they look good on her!!! Comfortable, stylish, versatile, durable and sexy - I'm not sure what more you could ask from an item of clothing. She loves them because they're great at the gym, around the house, and in a pinch, with the right shoes and top, can be dressed up nicely enough to wear out and around without feeling like a slob. Very soft, high-quality, nice weight fabric, and very well made.

She's 5'-4" and 110lbs, and the size "small" fits her like they were custom made for her, length and everything. We'll be getting more in other colors...

Update 3/1/10: We're up to 3 pairs in 3 different colors, and they're all awesome. They look, fit, feel, and perform great.

I really like these pants. They do come in long, at least for someone 5'4" and cuttin the bottom has worked out so far. I would recommend these pants, especially for the money.
