I bought these in Gold for my bedroom. The color is definitely gold, not yellow as another reviewer expected from the photo. They darken the room well and look great for the price--I got mine at overstock.com for a slightly lower price than this.

There are only two problems from my point of view and neither are the fault of the product. First, I feel like I need a class to learn how to fold these at the bottom and drape them nicely. Also, I didn't realize that these would not look good fully extended, with the ties hanging down. It really looks nice only when tied, at whatever level you want. Otherwise, it reminds me a little of a circus tent. (I'm not sure why: I'm sure an analyst would have fun with that.)I needed to get longer shades in order to do that. Live and learn.

All in all, these are good curtains. We'll see what happens to the color the first time I wash them. With my roller shades down, too, the room is pitch black. That's nice considering I live in NYC and there are lights outside all night. And my husband doesn't hate them that much, which is a ringing endorsement!

I like these curtains. I changed my duvet cover and want to exchange them though... if the exchange process goes smooth and fast I will give these a 5... I got he burgundy and they were the exact color

We live in Fairbanks, AK! Known for it's cold dark winters and warm sunny summer nights. The product in the picture is exactly what you get, even the color. It works well to help block the cold, and the sun. It is not a true blackout curtain, but it does eliminate quite a bit of light.

Nice curtain but the color is tan and metallic gold, not yellow as depicted in the photo.
