Cresnel shipped these super fast. I only needed one to replace a wheel that had disintegrated. The post is secured fast in the replacement wheels. And the post was still in the chair. So I had to pry one or the other out.

I found that the best way to proceed was to use a wrench to hold the end of the steel pin in the chair base and pull on it while using a screwdriver to pry it out.

Just a little help for anyone in the same situation.

I used the 120 lbs per wheel casters for replacements on an existing (heavy) office chair. They roll smoothly and quietly and handle the pressure well. The chair has a spring loaded back that puts extra force on the back wheels, causing previous replacements (and the originals) to break. These have been excellent.

I ordered these to replace a broken wheel on my office chair and they are almost an exact match to the ones that came with the chair. The items arrived quickly and were sufficiently packaged. My only complaint is that they were only sold in packages of 5. I guess I have 4 spares now :-) It doesn't say in the description but in addition to the stem diameter being 7/16" the stem height is 7/8".

I broke a wheel off of my year-old office chair from Office Depot. After measuring the wheels on the chair and seeing that these were the right size, I ordered them. They got here quickly, fit perfectly, were less than half of what the Office Depot replacement wheels were, and shipping was only 2.48. Great deal!

I ordered new wheels for my office chair as the original ones started breaking apart. These new ones I ordered came on time and in perfect condition. The installed easily once I got the old wheels off the chair. The new wheels fit perfectly and now I can once again scoot around my office as the wheels work very well. I obviously can't give a long term impression but so far they are performing perfectly. Recommended.

I had been searching for new castors for my office chair and the manufacturer was out of business. A similar product was available through Office Depot but the prices was utterly ridiculous. Something like $60 for 5 castors. These castors are an exact match to my old ones at a third the cost of Office Depot! Thank you!

On my office chair, one of the 5 casters broke (the plastic body which holds the stem). Seeing positive reviews here, I decided to purchase this set, expecting 4 of 5 would be spares. The new caster installed easily and appears high quality and practically identical. Delivery was faster than I thought it would be, and S/H charge was very reasonable, not even as high as the actual USPS shipping charge marked on the box (pleasant surprise).

I too had a chair where one caster broke but the chair was otherwise still in great shape. In researching options for replacement, I could not believe how ridiculously overpriced some of the suppliers where (including the store I purchased the chair from). In most cases it was cheaper to replace the entire chair! But then I found this supplier through Amazon. I seriously saved well over 50%. What a buy! Highly recommend this supplier!!!

We broke a wheel on our best office chair and then, because the first broken one made the chair off balance, another one broke. I was afraid I would need to replace the chair but found these new wheels instead. They arrived quickly and fit in the chair holes like the originals! More repair items like this should be available so we wouldn't have to be such a disposable society! Thanks!

These casters are excellent. After not being able to find them locally I ordered them. They are very easy to install and they are much better than the orginal wheels that came on my chair. Excellent Casters!!
