A Book that makes you love or continue to love rollercoasters. After his successful website ..., Robert Coker returns with a wonderful book that offers detailed ride dessriptions, beautiful pictures and helpful background on construction firms.

The book is divided into five chapters:

4.0 out of 5 stars rip off, November 30, 2010
So I'm not sure why they are selling this book for $125 dollars. Even $48 dollars. Don't get me wrong its a great book but I got it at Barnes & Noble for $20.

This book is filled with a history of roller coasters and lots of great color filled pictures. From Russian ice slides and PA switchback trains to the thrill of Kingda Ka, no style of coaster is left un-done. A great book for the coaster lover's library.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Coaster book is the real deal!, April 6, 2010
By
This book is far better than the others out there today, great pictures, it talks about the major coaster designers and builders, both wood and steel. and the lesser one's, like RCCA.
The beginning has a good section of the early days of coasters, with very rare pictures. Like R.Knudsen patent for the Inclined-Plane Railway in 1878.
All in all if your a coaster fan or just interested in them, this is a good reference book.
