3.0 out of 5 stars Nice Skates, but......, September 30, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Roller Derby Hornet Pro Adjustable Boy's Inline Skates Skate (Sports)
Nice, sharp-looking skates, but I have to return them because they won't fit my 11year old. They offer only small & medium adjustable sizes, so I wrongly presumed that medium would work. I just wish these folks would have put the size ranges down on the product description so I didn't have to waste my time. The box itself clearly states the ranges (2,3,4,5), but that doesn't help me now. My son's a 6.

4.0 out of 5 stars Roller Derby Boy's Horniet, February 25, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The quality of these Roller Derby Boy's Hornet Adjustable Incline Skates surpass any other. The aluminum frame for the wheels and smooth skating action is stellar. Because of the firm overall support, I did get two bruises on each instep. Hopefully this will subside as I toughen that area and/or grow into the skate. If there is one inconvenience to this skate it is the difficulty getting into it. Perhaps the design could be changed there in the future. A ski-boot entry design would enhance the already four-star quality of this skate. Thank you for making it available. It certainly was worth the wait!

4.0 out of 5 stars My son loves these blades!, September 8, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These inline skates were delivered quickly and my son loves them. They look really cool and seem to be good quality. He's been skating up a storm in them. The only drawback about them is that the style isn't as quick and easy to get on and off for him (he's 6) as the ski boot style is. It was a learning curve for him to figure out how to get them on and get them tight enough to support his ankles. The clips take quite a bit of force to get snapped and unsnapped, which frustrates him and he often needs help. He LOVES how they look and says that they feel really good to skate in. He's been doing laps up and down our block ever since he got them and he can't wait to take them to the local roller rink.
