About Rollerblade
The world leader in the inline skate market, Rollerblade pioneered the inline skating boom by changing the perception of inline skates. Once seen strictly as an offseason training device for hockey players, inline skates are now a widely accepted lifestyle product that can be used by just about anyone, including professional athletes, fitness enthusiasts, and fun seekers of all ages. Rollerblade traces its history to 1980, when two hockey-playing Minnesota brothers discovered an inline skate while rummaging through a sporting goods store and decided that this design would make an ideal offseason training tool. They refined the skate and began assembling the first Rollerblade skates in the basement of their parents' home. Nordic and alpine skiers soon began integrating the skates into their own training regimes. In the ensuing years, the brothers used grassroots marketing tactics in such markets as Miami Beach, Florida; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Venice Beach, California to position inline skating as a new sport. Headquartered in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, Rollerblade is now an established brand, and continues to push the sport in new frontiers with innovative technologies and revolutionary marketing programs.

Save your money and buy the right skate, the first time.,
This review is from: Rollerblade Bladerunner Mens Pro 78 Skate (Sports)
I work at a skating rink and we just got a couple pairs of these to try out and they are terrible!! I have very narrow feet and these skates were pinching my heel (width wise) the entire time I wore them. The upper strap is also very flimsy, in comparison to any of the Spiritblade models (which are what my rink typically buys for rentals), which make it more difficult to get it buckled tight enough to skate. Also, while the wheels are a 78A durometer (compared to the 80A of the Spiritblades), on our wood skating floor, they felt very slick which made me feel as if I would slip and fall if I went any faster than a brisk walking speed. If you are looking at these skates I highly recommend ANY of the Spiritblades over these. The Spiritblades are very good for their price. Save your money and buy the right skate the first time.

Mostly comfortable, smooth ride, some tightness,

I didn't buy these skates from Amazon, but I usually shop with Amazon so I thought I would weigh in. (I got them at a sporting goods store) I am a female college student with big feet so I opted for the men's sizes. I normally wear a size 11 in womens and generally a 9 in mens. I tried them on in the store and I purchased a 10(mens); the 9 was definitely too small. The 10s have just a little bit of extra room at the toe, so just perfect for me. I don't have particularly wide or narrow feet.
They are very comfortable although the heel is somewhat narrow, it pinches but it was perfectly bearable. It's more like a extremely strong and direct hold on my ankles, which helps keeps them in when I skate. All of the fasteners let me get a good fit and I didn't have any trouble with my feet coming out or the boot rubbing painfully when I skated. I took them out for the first time last night and the wheels were really slick, I didn't go very fast because they were very slick and I felt like I was a little out of control if I went anywhere faster than a mild roll. Overall I would highly recommend them because of the price and because of the positive results that I've had using these skates. 2115|R9DY4SGEREGGD;2115|R130MSZKZG0WTF;2115|R2WWMVMMZ45AI9;
