Good but not great,

This book is pretty good if you consider that there is almost no books on the market on bearing failure analysis (within a few years, maybe you will see mine on the market, who knows!). The photo quality is not great and their is not enough explanation on the failure causes. Often, the author copied and past text from one failure to the other, which I have found really disappointing (and bad for the environment). The interesting part is on the bearing maintenance and on the detailed review of each bearing type.So, this book doesn't worth 285 $ but there is nothing else on the market ! |
