Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" is a superb song of heartbreak. It's at once jazzy, bluesy, soulful, and passionate. It even outdoes her previous effort, "Chasing Pavements." This one is about "you got my heart in the beat"--and this song definitely has a beat! Adele channels her emotions with all she's got. She puts her whole self into the song. It's quite electrifying. Her "we could've had it all" is plaintive, melancholy, a song of love lost. "Rolling in the Deep" also has the feel of a spiritual-with her backing chorus. While other singers rely on image- Adele has her voice, and she's got a powerful voice! Rolling in the Deep is profound.

From the 1st time that I heard this song I fell in love with it. Her voice carries the words and the music to a new level. I can't get enough of it.

Rarely do you hear a song for the first time, that makes you wanna dance, cry, and sing out loud in a car at a red light with the windows down where everyone can hear you. After hearing a song like this it makes you wanna rush home and search it on youtube or amazon. Adele is responsible for making me stand in front of the bathroom mirror with a hairbrush singing my heart out for hours. She is one of the few artist left in this world that can actually SING, and some people criticize her for her weight. She is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen and she sings like an angel. But in this world of drones, most people have come to believe that appearance and lack of clothing is more important than actual talent! With most of the crap they play on the radio, "Rolling In The Deep" is truly a diamond in the rough. Thank you Adele, for this masterpiece!

There is no question that there are very few artists out there right now, that absolutely know how to sing, and coming out the songs that show it. For Adele, whom came out a few years ago, absolutely is one of those few, and honestly her songs are becoming worth their wait. Her single, Rolling In The Deep from her sophmore album 21, is really gritty and she captures a deep essence into the feeling of her song through her voice. I really like the song, and it is a great joy to listen too. I really don't know how she is going to follow-up with her next single, but when it comes alive, her fans will be rolling in Adele.

Rolling In The Deep is a song that gives me a thrill every time I hear it. No matter where I am or what I am doing, as soon as the song begins I always say to myself and to anyone listening that this is my all time favorite song. The singers voice is sexy and stirring and the beat gives me such great energy, just when I thought I couldn't walk another step I start be-bopping around! (BTW I am 56 yrs young). I always think of my husband as soon as this song starts up. He's a very sexy guy and I love my husband with all my heart and soul. It's a song that will always stay with me. Wow!!

After sitting here for an hour and trying to get this right, let me go ahead and give-up here and try something else, instead:

Dear Adele,

Wow.

That's some gift you've got there.

You know, I was going to come here today and write about what a shame it is that you've that incredible gift of a voice and yet you use it on pieces that are really weak from a songwriting standpoint, but....

Jesus, that's some kind of special gift you've got there.

You know... you could probably sing the phone book and make it sound like a masterpiece.

As I sit here, listening, I'm struck by the thought that what seems to be the weakness in the songwriting is actually a strength; it gives the title much more of a raw, open, honest vibe.

That's some gift you've got there, Adele.

Did I mention that yet...?

Yeah.

Etta herself would have been proud to put her name on this one.

Look, this is just so damned good that I kinda don't have the ability to really review it properly.

What I would say, though -- to the music industry in general -- as I point to Adele over there....

THAT'S HOW IT'S DONE.

I heard this song on "The Voice" and looked it up. Then I seen Adele on "Dancing With The Stars" and knew I wanted to download it to my DJ Ditty. I use the Ditty for when I run and knew this song would be great for running. I would listen to this song even if I weren't running to it as it is just the kind of music I really like, UPBEAT with some SOUL. It definitely is the best song of all the ones I listened to by Adele but I'm sure I haven't heard everything great that she has done. I loved the way Amazon has it set up to listen to all the recording artist who have ever done Rolling in the Deep and also every rendition that Adele has done, well I assume from all the different listings that they covered everyone. All I had to do was set up a Cloud account for free and download it to my DJ DITTY and then also to my Droid phone. I will definitely buy more songs from Amazon as I can create my own listening library with everything I love. Thanks Amazon you have made it easy to listen and pick out just what I want without all the hassle.
