5.0 out of 5 stars High quality
This seems to be a really high quality rolling pin. I ordered it from amazon about a year ago and it has worked out great. Granted, I don't bake A LOT, but enough that I have used it several times and had a good experience. The packaging from amazon was also great, so no problems with the shipping. Definitely recommend to others

This was the worst rolling pin I have ever used. It broke within a year of making occasional homemade pizza crusts. Maybe I don't know my own strength but the handles started to crack and the plastic piece in the end would fall out. I kept pushing it back into place, but eventually the glue inside one of the handles gave way and it broke completely off. It would have been...

It would have been less frustrating and more time efficient to roll the dough by hand. Save your money and go see a movie or something.

5.0 out of 5 stars my favorite rolling pin, November 6, 2008
This review is from: Rolling Pin Hardwood
I have this rolling pin and love it. I bake at least 3-4 times a week and it serves me well with no issues. Its a true classic. To prevent the problems the other reveiwer mentioned, DO NOT wash this in the dishwasher and rub cutting board oil on it at least every month or two. This pin has a smooth rolling action, doest require a lot of force and is beautifully simple craftmanship. Basically this is a workhorse of the kitchen with old fashioned looks and durability. It reminds me of my Grandmothers every time I use it. Very high quality and craftmanship. You cant go wrong buying this one...
