Editorial Reviews

The B-52 bomber has been flying and fighting for more than 40 years, yet she remains a first-line bomber in the USAF arsenal. Here is the plane's glorious history, from first flight in 1955, to its combat roles in Vietnam and the Persian Gulf.. Plus interviews with men who flew and designed this magnificent jet bomber. Great aerial action. Pilots say the B-52 is not getting older, it's getting better.

3.0 out of 5 stars Washed-out video and mostly older material, November 17, 2001

This review is from: Rolling Thunder - The B-52 Story [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I ordered this to use in class and for my dad, a B-52 navigator for many years. Unfortunately, the video and sound quality left a lot to be desired, and the footage was mostly older Vietnam era material. It looked more like a edited home movie at times than a professional tape. This would be best only for enthusiasts who are willing to overlook the faults of the editors.
