Seemed well built. Rolls has a good reputation. I ordered this unit for use with a stereo mic pair, but was disappointed you can't use it with just one mic and one battery. Probably in my case it would be better to get two single units--more flexible use. Also, the unit I received had one channel very noisy. I can't comment on how quiet the unit is when performing up to specs. Couldn't recommend unless using all the time for stereo. Returned the unit for refund.
