I purchased this device for my church. We don't have any techs available for the choir rehearsal, but they wanted to play their backing tracks through the stage monitors. With this device, they can connect a player and control the volume from the choir loft. This is exactly the functionality they needed. As a bonus, the separate right/left controls allow them to use split-track accompaniment with no additional issues.
