This is a compilation of articles written about Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars between 1980-1989 and contains articles that show signs of the times. The cars are constantly downgraded for poor fuel economy and there was even one prediction that the Spirit/Spur line wouldn't last 10 years! In fact the line continued for nearly 20 years and proved extremely successful for Rolls-Royce! The articles come from such sources as "Road and Track" and the book includes a special supplement on the Camargue that is a MUST for any Camargue owner. It's not all negative as some of the articles praise Crewe for the craftsmanship even while dumping on the auto makers for failing to downsize in the face of rising fuel costs. If you own a Rolls or Bentley or a Camargue this is a book you will love!
