We had so much fun with this game at a resort that we had to buy it for our home. The pieces are durable, sturdy and waterproof. Our kids love to stand on the checkers while deciding where to move. Adults love to play too. The checker board is NOT included. I recommend the hard plastic snap together board over the fold up and steak down vinyl mat for durability, looks and ease of use while moving checkers/chess pieces around. Make sure to measure the area you want to place it because when layed out it takes up a lot of space. We are going to build a platform for ours. HAVE FUN!!!!!!!! WE DO!!!!!!!!
