I had the same "problem" as a previous reviewer of my wastebasket arriving a bit dented on the side. However, because of its incredibly sturdy, yet flexible, construction, I was able to simply pop out the dent with no adverse effects whatsoever, which shows just how reliable this product is. Its also the perfect size for an office or bedroom, as it is big enough to not require constant emptying, while small enough to be barely noticeable in the room. I would highly recommend this product at twice the price, but luckily I don't have to :) You really can't go wrong with this one.

THey charged me $40 for shipping a $15 basket. The basket is good looking though, but its a bit too high for what I really needed it for. About one and 1/4 of a foot.

I purchased this wastebasket for my teenage son for Christmas. An odd gift choice for sure, but he asked for it! He is a senior headed to college in the fall for journalism/writing, and he felt he needed a wastebasket the throw his crumbled ideas in I guess. He was very specific about the type he wanted: black wire mesh. I planned on just buying one in a store, but stumbled upon this one while browsing Amazon. It is perfect! It arrived packaged well, so no dents or scratches. This wastebasket is larger than I pictured it, being about knee height. It is very solid and has some weight to it. You could easily play 'trashcan' basketball with this wastebasket, without knocking it over! Now if my son will just keep his room clean!

Does what it's supposed to do. High quality and looks great. The wastebasket I received didn't have any dents as others have complained. I will be ordering more.

My garbage has never looked so good! The black effervescent mesh blends very nicely with my glass desk and mesh pen holders. Perfect for an office space.

I am using this as my shred it bin rather than tearing up all my sensitive documents. It's a perfect alternative if you don't feel like spending alot of money on a paper shredder. Especially if you know someone who has one.

Love this trash can (well at least as much as someone can "love" a trash can, lol)! It's very classy looking, light weight, but sturdy enough that it doesn't tip over. Perhaps my favorite feature is that the metal the trash can is made out of is "meshed" which means that there is absolutely no suction when you pull out your trash bag to empty the can on trash day (a pet peeve of mine with our trash can in the kitchen). This is my second purchase of this same item from Amazon. Initially I bought the trash can for my daughter's bedroom (computer area) at Christmas time, and then ended up liking it so much that I purchased a second one for my office in our basement. In addition, it perfectly matches the Rolodex desk organizer I purchased from Amazon (Rolodex Supplies Caddy (1746466) and the Safeco Desk organizer (Safco Mesh Desk Organizer with Two Horizontal and Six Upright Sections (3255BL) also purchased from Amazon. All three of these items are black mesh metal and very sturdy products). In addition, as a finishing touch, I picked up a pencil holder (round mash metal, cup shape) at the dollar store (yes, only cost $1) that is a perfect match. Great little trash can, highly recommended!

This is my favorite little wastebasket. It's sturdy. It's the perfect size. I play paperball on it all day when I'm bored, great stuff.

I wanted a black mesh trash can for my home-office. This is exactly what I wanted. It is sturdy, though it is unlikely that it would survive a good stomping. I wouldn't use it as something to stand on while painting the ceiling either, but it looks like it will last as long as I want it too with regular use. They sent the right color and it arrived in less than 48 hours (perhaps their warehouse is close to San Francisco?).
