Bigger than it looks and has no cover so if your family rides ATV's around your yard stirring up the dust, get the covered one, I wish I did.

I've wanted a Rolodex for a long time now. I'm fairly technical and with cellphones as advanced as they are now and all kids of backup software (most carriers offer free contacts backup) these things are close to obsolete, but as much as I rely on technology ( I have a desktop computer, a laptop, a netbook, and 3 cellphones: an IPhone, an Android and a Windows Mobile Phone) I firmly believe that you should have a hard-copy backup of all you're important information. That's where this comes in. It's a great way to keep your contacts organized. You can put the name, address, phone#, e-mail and such on the front and notes or such on the back.
As some others have said this thing is very bulky and quite a bit bigger than I had expected and if you're concerned about the dust issue then you may want to buy the one with the cover. My biggest peeve is that the cards are completely blank and so I had to buy the lined cards to replace the ones that came with it. It turns fairly easy and seems to work well, but I may and up buying Rolodex 67011 Rolodex Covered Business Card File, 500 2-1/4x4 Cards, 24 A-Z Guides, Black instead. It may be a little better suited for my needs.

Kind of bigger and bulkier than I expected. The plastic squeeks. If I had to do it again, I would have bought the more expensive metal one.

I have always wanted to have one of this item for my desk in my room at home. I was pleased when I saw it was on sale. I am enjoying, it flips really easy to get to the alphabets. I would recommend for friends & family.
