Comment: This book is in good or better condition. It has no tears to the pages and no pages will be missing from the book. The spine of the book is still in great condition and the front cover is generally unmarked. It has signs of previous use but overall is in really nice, tight condition. Shipping is normally same day from our warehouse. We offer a money back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

Editorial Reviews

Review

'For those who teach courses on Roman Britain, or as students require easy access to source material alluded to in the main-stream textbooks, this handy compendium, encompassing literary, epigraphic and numismatic material, will be especially welcome' - Bulletin of the Institute of Archaeology

'Its extensive coverage of geography and people, political and military history, and especially religion, government, commerce and society, its many inscriptions and coin illustrations, and up-dated bibliography, all combine to make this collection much more than simply 'convenient' and it remains, moreover, within a student's purchasing power.' - Greece & Rome, Volume 43

An excellent book for readers and writers of Roman History in Britain. I have found it very useful as a source book for study. It conatins many items that I have not been able to find elsewhere.A good buy for anyone interested in Roman times and life.
