As early as the 1st century AD, Roman Legionaries carried the pugio as a means of last resort when the sword was out of reach. The handle and scabbard are adorned in brass plated engravings complete with lanyard rings. The double edge blade is solid carbon steel and features a blood groove. 15 1/2" overall, 10 1/2" blade.
