This book was really good. It's about Raven Walker an aspiring broadway dancer and Dru Davis a producer. They have chemistry from the very beginniing of the story when Raven runs into him. All I can say is at times in this book I could've just knocked Raven out because she feels like she has something missing in her life. She acts really naive and at times treats Dru and...

3.0 out of 5 stars ok story
I thought this story was ok, and I guess somewhat realistic. The main character had really unexpected in her actions toward others. Like the person she should be cautious with (her half sister) she welcomes and her love ones that has not never harmed her she begins to pull away from. When she is warned of her mistakes by several people and even senses her own mistake in...

This book was really good. It's about Raven Walker an aspiring broadway dancer and Dru Davis a producer. They have chemistry from the very beginniing of the story when Raven runs into him. All I can say is at times in this book I could've just knocked Raven out because she feels like she has something missing in her life. She acts really naive and at times treats Dru and her best friend like cramp. They try to lookout for her and she doesn't want to see it and turns a blind eye. There are alot of ups and downs in the book but, I think that you will love it like I did. Kim Shaw did her thing. I didn't want it to end. I hope she writes a book for Raven's friend Carley.

This is my first time reading this author, and she really told a great story. The characters were so believeable and down to earth, and I love the fact that their was actual real life dating and courting in the characters relationship. It wasnt just meet, hot sex, the end. The story had great substance, and I couldnt put it down until I reached the end. I cant wait to read more from this author.

I thought this story was ok, and I guess somewhat realistic. The main character had really unexpected in her actions toward others. Like the person she should be cautious with (her half sister) she welcomes and her love ones that has not never harmed her she begins to pull away from. When she is warned of her mistakes by several people and even senses her own mistake in judgement she refuses to think until her money goes missing. This story didn't seem like a romance novel because the to main character feel strongly in love 5 pages into this book and like their major issue were her trying to find a balence between blood relatives and family.

This review is from: Romance Backstage (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is a good story about a young lady who has a successful career as a dancer but wants to find her birth mother. She loves her adoptive parents but seeks to find out who her birth mother is and her father. Raven meets Dru Davis and falls in love but she still feels empty not knowing where she came from. He encourages her to find out and supports her. She finds her sister who is a user and decides that she deserves everything Raven has that she missed out on because she had to deal with their drug addicted mother while Raven lived the good life with her adoptive parents. Raven can not see the evil things her sister is doing because she wants the sister connection so bad. When she finally takes the blinders off will she have lost the love of her life and best friend in the process? You will have to read the book to find out and it will be worth the read.
