If you enjoyed any of the previous Romancing the Three Kingdom games, you will enjoy this as well. It is basically more of the same, enhanced with new spiffy new control options.

For those new to the series, Romancing the Three kingdoms is a turn based strategy game set in ancient china. It is sort of like a juiced up Risk set in Asia. Romancing the Three Kingdoms is a very slow paced game, if you don't have above average patience this game is not for you. Younger children won't appreciate the game. However if you are a methodical sort who enjoys carefully building and strategizing, you'll probably like this title.

This is one of the few games I own that despite its age I still love it and play it often. I love the strategic elements to this game and how it plays even though it looks pretty dated. I tried the new Romance games that are out for the PS2 and I just didn't like them as much as this one. This game has tons of replay value and will surely keep you occupied for ages. Definitely a must buy for all you strategy fans!

This game is alot of fun. I had played it for the SNES system but then decided to order it for the PS. It is lots of fun and very strategic. I would like to also thank the people for making it possible for the game getting to me, and in such a great timely manner. Ordered it and it arrived in 2 days. Great work!

romance of the three kingdoms for the psx plays similar to the snes version. that being said means its a great game. the graphics arent as good as one would hope for on a psx, but the game isnt about the graphics its about gameplay and fun. and it is fun for people who like long and strategic games. this game will take a lot of your time and make u think how to use each of your turns. do u increase your military might of try to keep everyone happy. the game makes use of so many menus and sometimes u can get lost in them. the game has no learning curve and no tutorials so if u never played a romance of the three kingdoms game u will be lost and it will take u a little while to figure out what to do. overall it is a great game for people who r in no hurry to finish and have played the series before.

This edition of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms franchise is a winner. I especially like the option of adding additional Rulers and Generals to the cast of characters and being able to adjust, to some extent, their profiles. Also, being able to choose between historical and fictional story lines is a plus. If you are a fan of strategy games and have patience, this game is a must.
