Julia Quinn has done something I've been longing for an author to do for a very long time...tell us what happened after the realization of love, after the wedding and the end of the book. Give us more than the tiny taste of the happily ever after one usually gets in the epilogue of most books.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth it
I A-B-S-O-L-U-T-E-L-Y LOVED the Bridgerton novels. I was instantly addicted, but the epilogues are VERY short and aren't really worth the price. But I do HIGHLY suggest reading all the Bridgerton stories, you won't be disappointed at all!

Julia Quinn has done something I've been longing for an author to do for a very long time...tell us what happened after the realization of love, after the wedding and the end of the book. Give us more than the tiny taste of the happily ever after one usually gets in the epilogue of most books.

In this epilogue Colin and Penelope face a delimma as they attend the weddng of Penelope's best friend and Colin's sister Eloise as newly weds themselves. Newlyweds with a secret. When I finished it I was smiling and had a great sense that now the story was complete.

When I fall in love with the characters of a book I've been totally captivated by I want to know the rest of the story...what happened next. Thank you Ms. Quinn for figuring out a way to give it to me.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice addition to the series., August 5, 2010

This was truely an extention of the original book and tells about Eloise's wedding from Colin & Penelope's point of view. I liked to be able to "see" more of a couple I fell in love with in the original books.

An adorable, though largely unnecessary, addendum to Romancing Mister Bridgerton. Though, given that the action takes place during Eloise's wedding, it feels as though it's more properly the epilogue to that story.

While I love seeing more of Colin and Penelope, I'm sorry that fully half of this is the Kindle sample for The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever. I'd have been better off waiting until all the epilogues are compiled and published together.

3.0 out of 5 stars Love Julia...but, February 28, 2011

This really felt like an interlude that I'd already read in the book, not a bridge to fill in the gaps. I do enjoy her stories and particularly like Penelope (who hasn't felt like an under appreciated wallflower at some point?!), but this just didn't feel new, at all.

I did not realize that epilogues are condensed version of the story. very disppointed as J. Quinn is one of my favorite authors. Definately not worth the money

I just love Julia Quinn's characters and this was so nice as a follow up to the people I'd grown to love. If it's Julia Quinn, it's worth a read. So much truer to the period. Love that they love each other like a family, know each other so well, what the best for each other, but lead their own lives. If I lived during this period, I'd want to BE a Bridgerton.
