Includes Fourty Original Spreads That Will
Answer All Your Relationship Questions

Everyone, from teens to seniors, whether gay or straight, black or white, is looking for guidance when it comes to affairs of the heart. Much of the time, it seems that we grope in the dark for answers to the problems caused by the presence or absence of love, sex, and intimacy in our lives. What if there was a tool that could provide some of those answers?

The tarot is that kind of tool. It is an intuitive device that can be used for insight into virtually every aspect of life, especially one's love life. Written in plain English, Romancing the Tarot demystifies the tarot and offers answers to every conceivable relationship question, including:

  • Will he call me?
  • Where will my current relationship be in a year?
  • Is my partner cheating on me?
  • How can I let go of a bad love in order to find a new one?
  • When will I find The One?

A helpful text with lots of fun and insightful spreads, and a positive and compassionate attitude. -- Mary Greer Tarot Newsletter, Summer 2001

Lynda Dahl author of Ten Thousand Whispers and The Book of Fallacies I learned the tarot years ago and use it weekly. In Romancing the Tarot, Phyllis Vega has accomplished the rare feat of simultaneously making the tarot accessible to the novice and offering a fresh interpretation that even advanced students will appreciate. 5.0 out of 5 stars Tarot users will fall in love with this fabulous resource!, January 7, 2001
This review is from: Romancing The Tarot: How To Use Tarot To Find True Love Spice Up Your Sex Life Or Let Go Of A Bad R (Paperback)
You could call a "psychic friend" and spend big bucks. Or you could buy this little guide and learn to use the Tarot yourself to shed a little light on your love life. Phyllis Vega, co-author of the wonderful Tarot spread resource, "Power Tarot...", has put together a terrific Tarot book specifically related to romance and affairs of the heart.

The 40 original Tarot spreads vary in complexity (from 3 to 12-card spreads). They cover a wide range of questions relating to romance and partnerships, such as, whether or not your new relationship is love, where your relationship is headed, choosing between two loves, how to let go and move on, career conflicts between couples, will your kids or pets get along, an anniversary relationship overview, and whether or not your significant other is cheating on you. By using/studying the spreads, readers may be inspired to create some of their own for issues Vega may have missed...though it's hard to think of any.

Vega also provides very detailed card descriptions. There's a general interpretation for each card and key phrases are also provided to help remember card meanings. Seven other categories of romance-related interpretations are provided for each card; expectation, emotional potential, sexual potential, material potential, spiritual potential, challenges and outcome. Though Vega doesn't have reversed meanings for the cards, she discusses how to read the cards reversed, if desired. Though not specifically recommended by Vega, I think her "challenges" category of interpretation could be read for reversed cards quite effectively.

She also provides a brief section on Tarot background and basics and four sample readings at the back of the book. This book is a fun and highly informative work. All levels of users will fall in love with this accurate, in-depth guide to using the Tarot for questions of the heart.

4.0 out of 5 stars If you have questions about relationships this is THE book, September 10, 2001
This review is from: Romancing The Tarot: How To Use Tarot To Find True Love Spice Up Your Sex Life Or Let Go Of A Bad R (Paperback)
I have had previous experience with Ms. Vega's co-authored work "Power Tarot." I can't begin to say how pleased I was to find this new work, that dealt so specifically with relationships. I find that most of the people who want readings have relationship questions. This book has great spreads to cover just about every aspect of a relationship. And the interpretations of the cards are a great jumping off point for finding your own truth in the card.

Since I have begun using the spreads from this book, I've received a lot of compliments from my clients about how "dead on" I am to their situation.

Overall, I think this book would be of great use to the beginner to intermediate reader, as well as a good resource for the more advanced.

    5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific!, January 3, 2001

Vega's gift is that she is able to make the complex so understandable that anyone who studies the tarot - beginner or pro - will love this book. The original spreads are great and the interpretation of the cards is clear, concise and completely free of jargon. Vega has taken the tarot into the 21st century and yet brings it right down to daily life, exploring every aspect of romance and relationships. Should be a must on every tarot reader's shelf!
