One of the best instructional books out there. If you are looking for a way to learn this technique look no further!

I was luckier than I knew when I bought a copy of this now rarely available book on Romanian Point Lace. The techniques are clearly illustrated and cover all aspects of this rare lace technique. Even better, these techniques and the skills learned can be transferred to other needlelace techniques. A wonderful book and find. Well illustrated and well written with detailed photographs of full projects and individual stitches and motifs.

Batsford is a wonderful craft publisher and once again they don't let you down. Grab this book of you can.

Details for filling stitches in arch shapes are only in this book which makes it unique and highly desirable. It needs to be reprinted. The current prices for used copies are ridiculous and unattainable for most. The book is excellent however - just not available to those who actually use it.

Great book , explains all the stitches in detail , with good diagrams.a must for all the needle lace lovers.

Angela Thompson and Kathleen Waller's book is beautifully illustrated and thorough. To my knowledge it is the most comprehensive and detailed guide to Romanian point lace in print. The instructions on adapting an angel motif from bobbin lace to Romanian point lace are very useful because lace makers do not have an over-abundance of patterns these days!
