My wife and I heard the track romantic night played on WNUA in Chicago, and loved it and bought the CD. Turns out every track is great. My wife and I listen to it to relax, and I also played it 3 or 4 times front to back on a long 800 mile car trip. Its just smoth wonderfull listening.

Great grooves, great tunes, great players! I particularly like the musical dialogs between J and Marc Russo. Some great musical energy there! Glad to see both on the scene! Put it in your shopping cart NOW! Keep 'em comin, J!

This Album is really great,and I think that the songs have heart and the players are very soulful. I really like the sax playing and the vocals...Ah...jeez, it is all good. I am recommeding this CD to all my friends and family.

The concept really works. I had a romantic event with Romantic Night. Something here for everyone. Good solid grooves, good vocals, and an uncanny sense of direction. And it has something I don't hear very often....STAYING POWER. Repeated listenings hold up very well. Hats off to J.T. A fine, fine, album!

The music is soothing, melodic and so romantic. When I heard it in the radio I felt that finally music was art again and I had to get it. I enjoy it thoroughly not just for the song I heard but for the entire CD. Each song is a delight. Excellent! I have faith again in the music industry.

This is a great CD! J. Thompson has succeeded with the perfect blend of jazz, funk and beautiful melody. There is no filler here; all of the songs stand on their own merit. From the disciplined mastery of the musicianship to the great lyrical songwriting, this album like a fine wine should withstand the test of time.

This CD fills in that section of my collection that is geared toward the romantic side of my life. Easy to soak up and get the mood in the right place. The execution and musicianship is also excellent. Hope he puts more vocals on the next, which I will also buy.

This cd lives up to its title. Very romantic and relaxing. "Tell me the truth" is my favorite but the entire album is excellent.

I bought this CD a year ago after hearing Tell The Truth on the radio. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. It's now one of my favorite CD's.
