Stop what you're doing and jump in your car, because it's time to take a spin down Lorene Drive. Ok, so you won't necessarily need a car to check out Lorene Drive, but you will need some good speakers to crank this. If you can imagine a band that mixes a little bit of something that sounds like new-school Eighteen Visions with the crunch factor of The Bled, you would be thinking of Lorene Drive.

While there's a lot of melody and singing on Romantic Wealth, this is a band that knows just when to kick some ass and throw in some screaming and breakdowns without overdoing it or under doing it. Even though this is catchy enough to be on the radio, there's still something dirty and raw about it that keeps you intrigued. Tints of southern rock and metalcore can be heard, but it's delivered in a delightfully catchy way. There's really only one downside, which is the lyrics. Since the album is entitled Romantic Wealth, you know you can expect some lyrics about the topic of love, which unfortunately just never seems to go out of style in today's music.

If the lyrics would have went a little deeper and perhaps actually made the listener have to think, this album would almost be flawless. It's possible that these guys could be on the way to the top if they keep pumping out these tight tunes.

I really like this cd, some songs are better than others but for the most part each song on the cd has it's unique qualities
