Too bad that "Romantico" is the only CD available in the U.S. from this great Japanese duo. Breathy female vocals compliment backings of quavering organ, slide guitar and drumbox as 800 Cherries roll dreamily through a slate of sweet & simple popsongs.
This might have appeal to fans of American Analog Set, Cibo Matto, Natural Calamity and pop duos like Azure Ray and The Softies.
