A Bit Dark,
By
This review is from: Romeo (Hardcover)
Ugh, she does a great job with the violence, slash by slash detail. The book deals with some rather dark topics so be prepared for that. On the brighter note the book is good. The author does a very credible job with the character development, especially the women victims. I would have liked more insight into the killer. The main character has so much personal baggage you believe she would want to get into this world. If you are looking for a mystery that is a light I would not pick this book up. If you are looking for a book that takes on some issues we normaly do not get a lot of detail on then this is a good book for you.

Excellent, addictive, erotic thriller,

I regret ever finishing this book. In Britain, where I made purchase of the book,it is actually called Bleeding Hearts. I have never heard of Elise Title, but I am hooked now. The style of how she set out the book is in a way addictive. I could'nt find time to do anything else. Also, the language was exhilirating. I felt for Sarah and became to know her. As did I come familiar with John Allegro. Mind you, I have read many thrillers and pshyco-analyst books about serial killers and their distinctive and unique ways of killing victims, but never has any of them made me become emotionally involved as I did with this book.Romeo, a man after my heart. I'm speechless. Keep writing.

One Word: Boring,
By A Customer
This review is from: Romeo (Mass Market Paperback)
I've read the book in german and I must say: One of the most boring book I read last year. It is nothing else but a simple whodunit. Especially the lead character Sarah is so bad that I wished Romeo would kill her very soon.

I read this book while on vacation and could not put it down!! I was hooked from the first page. I enjoyed the location, having been to San Francisco several times. I was totally engrossed in the suspense as well as the exciting pace. I felt as if I knew Detective Allegro as well as Sarah Rosen. I felt scared one moment and touched by their likeness and evolving closeness the next! I will be anxiously awaiting Ms. Title next suspense-romance novel!

Great book!!! I couldn't put it down. I finished the book the day I got it. I was up until 2:00am on a Sunday night reading it. You would never guess "whodunit" until the very end of book.

A waste of my 7 bucks. I am confused as to how this book got compared to books by Thomas Harris. I suppose if you are into finding unity through incest, childhood abuse and suicide this book may be your cup of tea. If not... skip it.
