Don't miss this one!
This is a wonderfully old-fashioned sweet romance. To be honest I wasn't expecting too much--I bought the book because I love cats and there is a cat in it. But halfway through the book I decided Annie Kimberlin is one of my favorite authors! The characters are very real and believable. Give this one a chance, especially if you like family-oriented romantic heroines and...

Cats and Dogs Don't Mix, Else Go 'MEEEEEEEOWCH!'
This book's one word sentences and cheap innuendoes are rigorously invidious! Torch of Doom, torch of doom, wherefore art thou torch of doom, with which to annihilate this book! As I read this awful masterpiece, my heart got all melty. Then I realized I was a forty year old librarian, and I made valentines and cookies. Then Ann came over. Once again we became...

Don't miss this one!, May 2, 2000
This review is from: Romeo and Julia (Mass Market Paperback)
This is a wonderfully old-fashioned sweet romance. To be honest I wasn't expecting too much--I bought the book because I love cats and there is a cat in it. But halfway through the book I decided Annie Kimberlin is one of my favorite authors! The characters are very real and believable. Give this one a chance, especially if you like family-oriented romantic heroines and animals. Her non-explicit style was very refreshing after a steady diet of "steamy" romances.

Please, Annie, write more books!, March 21, 2000
This review is from: Romeo and Julia (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the second book of Annie's that I've read and they are so enjoyable. This is a sweet book about regular people- a librarian and a school bus driver/carpenter- who find love. Its so refreshing to read about people you can relate to instead of heiresses with too much time on their hands. Annie's books are romantic without being sleazy and this one really touched my heart.

Cute story, good characters ya root for, and an easy read. This was the first book I read of Kimberlin's and it is my fav. I would like to see more work from this author.

As I read this awful masterpiece, my heart got all melty. Then I realized I was a forty year old librarian, and I made valentines and cookies. Then Ann came over. Once again we became exceedingly gushy. Ann said, "I hear you barkin' big dog!" Almost.
