I figured I'd make this discussion topic for those that keep posting reviews... when the thing isn't even out yet. So don't mess up the system, post your excitement here.

I AM A.M. says:
HBO Home Entertainment in conjunction with Warner Home Video have announced the technical specs and special features for the upcoming Blu-ray release of 'Rome: The Complete Series', which is scheduled to hit store shelves on November 17th, day-and-date with the DVD re-release. The 10-disc box set will feature 1080p 2.70:1 VC-1 video accompanied by a 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack.

Why is it going to be in 2.70:1 that makes no sense it was shot in 1.78:1

This is what highdefdigest says, and I believe them over anyone:

"The 10-disc box set will present the series in 1080p/VC-1 (1.78:1) video, an English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements will include an audio commentary, a featurette, and a photo gallery."

It is both seasons in one boxset. I read a year ago that the two main characters were actually real maybe not the same names of Titus and Lucius but they said Cesar had two guys which he trusted a lot an would send on various missions.

Ah, thank god(s), I've watched the series 3 times now and am pissed ever time I reach the end, always wanting more. I'll watch the movie even if it sucks.

On a side note, is anybody else mad at that Shakespeare punk spoiled the ending of the first season? He really should have posted "spoilers" in the last act.
