Like all the works of Samuel Mitcham this is superb. His research is detailed, interesting and authentic. His writing style is engaging and easy. His books are a journey I do not want to end; A perfect blend of known and unknown presented by a master historian. In particular his work on Rommel is definitive to knowing the Desert Fox and his exploits. You can not study or try to know Rommel without reading this book. Well done Mr. Mitcham.
