This man is utterly incredible...he has a bunch of live improv "jam sessions" on youtube...and after I saw a couple of those I instantly ordered the CD...he is incredibly talented and has a brilliant mind when it comes to music.

From the dope beats to the hilarious rap on 56k, this album has been a breath of fresh air. Unique is a good way to describe it. Original is another. I found this after hearing a song on Pandora. This has been about the 20th CD I have bought based on hearing only one song off of Pandora. It is that accurate. (After using the website for over 2 years).

Ronald, can't wait till the 2nd album drops!

First off, Ronald, you are an immensely talented guy and don't ever stop making music. This guy's love of what he does is infectious. Not only that but the music is unbelievable. This guy is gonna be a producer someday I have no doubts in my mind. The beats are great. Some are hip-hop and some are more rock or R&B but they're all great and I recommend you check out his Youtube page for some of his videos.

Addictive brilliance! This guy is a genius. I highly recommend the album "Derty". I look forward to his future creations.

Behind that unassuming and endearingly goofy persona is a musical genius with a very good instinct for goosebump-inducing melodic progressions. The contrast between his etherealy beautiful compositions and his seemingly awkward demeanor adds to the already highly enjoyable Jenkees experience.

My personal favorites from this album are Derty, Clutter, Super-Fun, Loui, Gold Spinners and Almost Undamaged. You see that? How I have a hard time picking only one or two favorites? This album really is just that good.

If you're not into the synthesized sound, this might not be up you alley, though it has been known to convert a few former synth haters. Funny enough, he did two covers in this album, yet they aren't really so great compared to the rest. What I'm saying is the material Ronald composes himself is even better than Canon in D and the Rocky Theme. He's so tallented, he sells himself short when he does covers!

The ad-libbing he does on YouTube does not have as much of a strong presence here. While this has a more polished feel to it than his YouTube material, I kind of miss it. I'm hoping he'll have more freestyle stuff in his next album coming out this summer, which I think promises to be even better than this one judging by what he's saying will go into it.

Watch this man. He's refreshingly not aloof in the slightest and has a great attitude. He'll at the very least be composing for movies, video games and commercials in the near future.

I have always enjoyed Ronald Jenkee's hit songs like stay crunchy and consequently bought this album. I have been very impressed and satisfied with the consistent quality throughout the album. Many albums produced today are centered around one hot single that people enjoy, mandating filler songs to create the length necessary for an album. This album is different, each song is beautiful in it's own way and is well selected to create a superior flow from song to song.

Simply put, Mr. Jenkees is a virtuoso on the keyboard. This album is much more laid back than his second album, Disorganized Fun, it lacks the crazy synth solos and it has more of a hip-hop feel but it also veers off into some fun jazzy vibes as well . I'm very picky when it comes to hip-hop stuff but the song "56k" alone is worth the price of this album, it cracks me up every time I hear it.

Every track here is well thought out and meticulously produced. I can't help but feel good when I listen to this stuff, it always puts a smile on my face.

I am only making a review based on the fact that this guy has some amazing work. To my knowledge he has not been on the cinema scene at all. Perhaps someone out there can correct me if I am wrong. Nonetheless, the young man is outstanding. At first I thought the music was way out there but after listening to various videos on Youtube it is quite evident that this style of music could be used in end credits. I absolutely love his work and plan on buying the new cd with the "messing with guitar sound" once it is released. I firmly believe you should do the same and support him.

I, like most people, discovered Ronald Jenkees on YouTube. Ronald is extremely talented! After listening to a variety of his videos, I immediately went and downloaded his album. Although his music is very good, I was a little disappointed with the album.

The sound on the album is too... sterile. It's TOO clean. What I like about the his YouTube videos is the effect that the acoustics of the room have on the sound. The sound is not as clean -- it has a certain raw, unpolished feel that allows you to rock out to it.

There are also other minor nitpicks (e.g. subtle differences in timing, keyboard tones could be richer-sounding), but all-in-all Ronald's talent is nearly unparalleled.
