5.0 out of 5 stars Ronan Keating autobiography, October 30, 2000
By "ronansgirl" (Belfast N.Ireland) - See all my reviews
I thought this book was absolutley brilliant! It was one of the most honest books I have read in a long time and it was a real rollercoaster of emotions. Ronan explained all about his childhood and how exactly boyzone began. He also talked about how he felt when his mam died, his love for his model wife yvonne, what it was like to become a father for the first time, the pressures of fame and many other things as well. There are some never before seen pictures and it proved to me that Ronan Keating is one of the most honest, down to earth guys that you could ever meet. Not only is Ronan a member of a top boy band, a successful solo artist, a tv presenter, manager of Westlife, husband and father but he is also a brilliant writer and he is only 23! Its a must for anybody, fan or not!

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly good, June 15, 2002
By Jose A. Narbona (Jerez, Spain and Houston, TX) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I bought this book because I knew Ronan was Irish and I love this country. I needed something to read for the airplane and... what a wonderful surprise I found! Ronan's story is not new at all but his style is very fresh, very sincere and human. It's an excellent reading for those interested in the world of pop music and also for those who love to hear an Irish guy telling you stories drinking a beer in a pub. I guess the book tells you more than what Ronan could tell you in a single night with a pint of Guinness so fans... this is a must-read!

5.0 out of 5 stars What an amazing young man, December 23, 2003
By vigie (South Africa) - See all my reviews
I am not much of a reader, yet when I was given this book as a gift from a friend who visited the UK, I just could not put it down. I found it to be so interesting, so real and honest. I am a Die Hard Ronan Keating fan and after reading the book I felt as if I knew him and his family. Its obvious his up bringing has a lot to do with his grounding as a good person, well thats my opinion. I love the stories about his mother. He is every mothers dream for a son. I'm sure Ireland is proud to have him.The bit about the birth of Jack is just so awesome.I love the way he took us gradually into the depths of his private life, from the childhood to Boyzone to Husband to dad and then an 'Amazing Young Man' a man with a talent for writing as well, and a man who made it without compromising. I love the part about all the mischief about Boyzone. What more can I say YOU GO RONAN!!!!!!! Can't wait for the 31st Dec when he will be in South Africa. I hope I get to meet him!!!!! Sorry i know you said focus on the book's content, I just had to say that....
