The cookbook is written especially for the rotisserie, with step-by-step instructions. Also included is a 9-1/2-by-9-1/2-by-2-1/2-inch nonstick wire basket that is deep enough to hold lobster, lots of vegetables, and other foods when it's placed on the rotisserie's spit and slowly turned to roast what's inside. Since people seem to be using this as somewhat of a forum, just thought I would let those of you who are wondering that you can buy replacement parts at Ronco.com. I have a Ronco I got for Christmas from my mother-in-law. I thought I would never use but I LOVE it! Never had a better roasted chicken.

Definitely need the extra basket if you've purchased a Ronco Rotisserie. Elastic ties are a bust. Use regular cotton string off a spool for a better grip.

I just received my rotisserie. I have used it twice and really love it. Kabob rods didn't come with it and I can't find out where or how to buy some. If anyone knows I would love to hear from you.
