A wild trip!, August 5, 1999

I just took a wild trip through four act's of pure creative energy the equivalent of space mountain meet's Spike Jones! The CD as a whole is strong with a clever mix of social commentary, political satire and a brain jolt savvy that would make Einstien's head spin. Act one is a coming together, a unity of sort's. Act two could be titled everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask. When you ask a question make sure you want to know the answer because Neuhauser serves it up raw and real. Act three is a beautiful blend of sound and soul. Emotion from the places that frighten us as well as soothe. Act four, the wrap up to an enlightened look at ourselves as a people with instrumental peices to wind down or wind up with! A CD that really must be heard! It's as if a drum swallowed up a poet and the result is sheer Neuhauser!

I found this CD to be physically and cerebrally stimulating. Lust in Oval Space is a great social commentary.
