I bought a Colibri lighter, and when it ran out of fuel, I bought a can of Ronson, since their lighter fluid always worked fine, and that "Hey, butane fuel is butane fuel, right?"
Wrong. Turns out this fuel is too heavy for most butane fed lighters, such as Colibri and also Windmill, so if you can, contact your lighter manufacturer & find out what brand they recommend.
If you have filled your lighter with a incompatible fuel, turn the flame control all the way up, then attempt to light it, and hold the lighting button down to try to flush out the wrong fuel. Aggravating & time-consuming, but eventually, once you put in the right gas, your lighter will work fine.....hopefully. Otherwise, it's back to the manufacturer.

Follow up: I saw some "Triple-refined" butane fuels here on Amazon. They sounded good, but are far too rich(around $20) for my blood, but I went to my local smoke shop & asked if they had any refined fuel. I bought a can for $6.99, and my lighters work great. I'll keep the Ronson fuel for when I want to do death-defying fire-breathing things.....which means it'll sit on the shelf until the next millenium.

Horrible Quality Butane. Does not even work on Ronson lighters. I find that zippo butane works better but something more refined then zippo would be better. This will clog up your lighters. It also gets air in your butane tanks. Just do you self a favor and pay for better quality.

Picked this up at a local store as a refill for my Xikar lighter. Horrible mistake. Within a single use my flame became inconsistent and the lighter developed leaks. Prior to using the Ronson refill, the lighter worked flawlessly, now it's basically unusable. DO NOT BUY if you care about your lighter working. This may seem like a good deal, but if you end up having to replace your lighter because you used crap butane (like I did), it suddenly makes buying better butane seem worth it.

Do not purchase this product! Please be for warned. It messed up all of my lighters - both cans that I purchased. Again, I would not recommend this product for your lighters - period.

Just refill butane for butane gas lighter. That is it.. Not bad, Not best..AH ! This refill butane gas should be packed for lighter, I think. Compared to regular butane ( for barbeque etc), this is better, in terms of odor, nozzle size, flame strength etc.

bad thing? not cheap. However the delivery location was far from my office. I tried to understand. The delivery timing was just 3 days from seattle WA to Atlanta GA by way of USPS standard.

I bought the Ronson butane fuel to use with a small kitchen culinary torch (Westmark Germany Culinary Gas Torch). I can't vouch for how well the fuel works with lighters or other similar products, but it works very well with the culinary torch.

I purchased the Ronson butane fuel in the 2.75 ounce/78 gram size at a local drugstore for about $5.

this lighter fuel is a garbage. literaly renders your lighter usuelss after using it. flames become inconsistent and also creates leak in the fuel tank of the ligher. pay for better lighter fuel if u want ur lighter to work
