5.0 out of 5 stars Spunge really are a breath of fresh air, July 14, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Room for Abuse (Audio CD)
Spunge have again produced a fantastic album that helps bring together ska and punk into a larger genre. It also brings reggae beats into there music with very funny lyrics and is well worth buying if you like blink, sugarcult, green day and any band in that genre. Its a breath of fresh air from the produced punk and ska records you get today.

5.0 out of 5 stars Uk can do ska!, September 15, 2004
By
This review is from: Room for Abuse (Audio CD)
Spunge are pretty much our only ska band worth mentioning but they do it better than so many american bands. Room for Abuse is the perfect blend of ska and punk. The remix of No woman, No Cry is perfect. Ego and Break up are probabably the best tracks on the cd. If you like reel big fish or less than jake you will love this. if you dont it's worth downloading a view tracks to taste the horns.

GOD!!!! This cd is crazy!!! i love it i cant get the songs out of my head!!! No Woman No cry is great they remixed it to perfection (not that bob Marley was bad) and ego is a great song also!!! The entire cd it FILLED with great up beat ska that no one could put down!!! The kind of a mix of Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake, Green Day, Mighty Mighty Bosstones and a bit of great catchy punk!!! And some Offspring. If you like any of these bands this is a must have!!! I wash they would come to California so i could see them in person. I might even fly to the UK just to see them!!!

An amazing live show, very nice guys who are always willing to hang out with you and a damn fine album of excellent ska. They give me hope in the british music scene. This album is totally cool mixing some crazy punkness with some totally layed back dubstyle beats and some frantic ska. cant go wrong really.
