I am extremely disappointed in this product. First of all, the minimal directions do not accurately depict the product. Second, despite fervent attempts, the rod will not expand. I had other people try to help me expand it and they failed, too. This rod will not expand past 48 inches, despite the claim it will do so. Both target and amazon customer service were not able to offer any suggestions, either.

Like Malfeasor, I have also been unable to extend the rod past its initial 48". The inadequate directions on the back seem to indicate that it just pulls apart, but the item description says it telescopes. I attempted to twist it like a typical rod, but it won't move. Tried pulling it and one of the caps just came off. Extremely disappointed, I'll see if I can return it to the local Target.

Amazon would not replace this item through target after they sent it to me damaged. By re-ordering, I had to pay shipping & handling that should have been free. Amazon was, however, prompt in refunding money (Although shipping & handling didn't apply in the first instance).

Rods and finials look okay from a distance but up close you realize the finials are plastic and don't even match the rod. Assumed they were brushed nickel so was quite disappointed. But I guess you get what you pay for.

Style is great and installation was super easy. I'm planning on purchasing more for the other rooms in my house.

Love them! Purchased one for my daughters room as well as mine. Installation was easy and I had no problems extending them past the 48 inches.

Both curtain rods were bent too the point that they were useless for anything but the garbage which is where i put them . I will never do business with your company again.
