It's based on a novel. It's about the life of a lonely and isolated woman who is transformed when she opens herself up to the outside world and to a gentle, romantic relationship.

They have Sara Jessica Parker on the front cover of the DVD and she only appears in the movie in five scenes very briefly. So if you are looking to buy this DVD because you are a SJP fan then think twice about it. On a lighter note it was an alright movie but the ending wasn't so hot. Cheers! PhillyGirly XoXoXo
