If I could, I would give this book 6+ stars. When I saw it at the bookstore I bought it from, I just wanted it right then. Well you know the saying-don't judge a book by it's cover, so I took a look at it. It was amazing. I bought it right away. This colorful book has tons of great ways to decorate your room. It also inspires you to go to thrift shops, garage sales, and even you garage to find things to decorate, even a cardboard box. I know a cardboard box sounds dumb, but you'll know what I mean when you see the idea. You take a quiz in the beginning of the book to see if you're a Sparkly Girl, a Nature Girl, a Sunny Girl, or a Bold Girl. The " " Girls are color coded so tou'll know which ideas are "you". Each style has tons of COOOOOOOOl ideas to refurnish you furniture and stuff. There are also many ways to decrate you room by just using cheap stuff you can buy at craft stores. You can mix and match the ideas in the book to get diffrent looks and all of these ideas are unique and fit your style. There are also many qustions and helpful hints that girls like you sent in about their rooms. You will absolutely love this book. I reccomend it for ages 6-teens.

I think this book is amazing. It has tons of decorating ideas! First you take a quiz to find out what your style is. Then you can choose from about 30 different decorating ideas for each style!It is so cool! I really enjoyed this book! It has helped me transform my room from boring to amazing!I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for new ideas for their room!

This is one of the best books I have read on redecorating your bedroom. (and I've read many!) This isn't one of those books where you find out you don't have all the materials you need for the project, then you have to rush to the nearest art or craft store and spend $. This book's projects are simple and don't require a lot of money, yet when you're done your room will look great! The way this book works is that you start off by taking a quiz to determine whether you are a sparkly girl, a nature girl, a sunny girl, or a bold girl. After you have found out what style you are, you turn to the chapter of your style and you'll find decorating tips to freshen your room up. Not only that, in the back of the book there is a "Room Doctor" chapter with advice for getting the room of your dreams without spending a lot of money, tips on making cleaning your room less boring and more fun, tips on redecorating if you share a room, and more. There is also a "Girl's Fix-It Guide" with tips from other girls if your room is too messy, crowded, blah and boring, or small. This is a fantastic book and I highly recommend it to all girls who need to redecorate their room. It has helped my room go from super-boring to super-cool!

This is book is really insperational! It inspired me to start a club about animal rescue- so far we've saved 3 dogs!! Please get it for your daughter, around ages 10-14 is best!!

I picked this book up for a dollar at a garage sale for no real reason. Flipping through it later, I was surprised to see how creative most of the suggestions are.

Many DIY books, especially ones aimed at tweens (girls age 10-13 or so), fall into the too-simple trap: material lists like "jewelry box, rhinestones and glue," directions like "glue on rhinestones-enjoy!" This book doesn't go there. It's not so much about crafts; more about using items you wouldn't have considered displaying and creating atmosphere with all the small things. And the ideas are, again, very original: twig-and-rope magazine rack, Twister mat wallpaper, Slinky photo holder, CD suncatchers.

The book isn't perfect. The little gimmick about "finding your style" is kind of pointless; the subsequent sections are divided by "style" and most of the suggested room decorations are indistinguishable style-wise. A "Sparkle Girl" and a "Sunny Girl" wouldn't have much of a problem sharing a room. And not all of the suggestions are for everyone; a glam tween might hit some problems with funds or parental permissiveness. But "Room for You" has something for almost any girl.

I really liked this book, and it helped me redecorate my room! I didn't copy the the items word for word, but instead found my own way for the ideas. The test in the beginning of the book is great, and it really helped me make my room look more me.

When i got the Girls Club Kit for Christmas, I was so excited!
I thought it would be a peice of cake to start a club.But when I
got home, went downstairs in my basement, and opened the packet
up...I new it needed a little work to get started.But I managed to get the basement all cleaned up and ready to start a club.In about 5 days I will be able to ask my friends if they want to join.I know it will be a very cool club,&will suceed to work.I have been coming down in my basement just touching up the place.I have been coming down here every single day.I have been looking forward to it ever since I got it for Christmas.

I bought this book the other day and it was worth it. They had a lot of neat ideas. For example: Take some fishing wire and put round, glittery stickers back to back on it and wiegh it down with a bead , it turned out really neat! The reason I rated it 4 stars is because some of the ideas were a bit cheasy. They were cool, but sort of weird. One idea said to take colored paper plates and put them on one whole wall. I tried that and it didn't look so good. If you are 10-15, I would buy this book. You also take a quiz at the beginning so then they show you ideas that you would mostly like. In the back of the book they have helpful tips too. Worth the money!

This book is really cool. First, you take a quiz. Then you get a bunch different ways that you could decorate. The cool thing is that every decorating idea is easy and doesn't require a lot of materials. You could redecorate a whole room without spending any money. The best part is that there are different catagories with different styles for your room. There is something for everyone! Try it!
