I painted a simple mural with sky and gently rolling hills and then applied these decals. I'd add a picture but can't figure out how to do so. They're so awesome because...

1. they are EASY to apply
2. they do not require special tools to apply or remove
3. they can be repositioned multiple times - great for a perfectionist
4. they really do peel off without leaving any residue
5. they are colorful but muted - great for those who want to avoid harsh primary colors
6. they add so much color to your walls - you won't have to buy many different colors of paint
7. they're more detailed than any stencil you could use
8. they offer a lot of variety
9. they make your child's room look like you made a serious effort
10. they are the ultimate accessory for plain walls especially if you don't want to paint

These wall stickers are such a great idea. We purchased them for our son's first "big boy room" and they worked out great. It was so easy to put them up and move them around, and really made his room come alive without the hassle and time of having to paint.

I bought these transportation stickers for my baby boy's room and it really makes the room! The detail and color is fantastic! The price for what you get (amount of stickers and quality) is great. I did not have a big budget for decorating her (and her brother's) room so after tons of research, I chose these RoomMates stickers and I was not disappointed! I was able to remove and reposition them several times.

A few things to keep in mind:
These stickers are printed on a clear background so whatever color your walls are, it will show through slightly. My son has blue walls but this did not affect the clarity of the mural at all.

The stickers are super thin, so be careful when peeling them off of the paper! Make sure the sticky side does not stick to itself and that you do not tear them as you remove them.

Make sure you start with a clean wall to ensure these don't peel off over time. Also clean hands will keep dirty fingerprints from sticking. Lastly, try to keep these on interior walls of your house. Meaning, not on window walls or walls where the outside is on the other side. The temperature change in the wall might cause these to unpeel.

Yes, these arrive folded up in a small package, but even though there were fold marks on the castle and some of the other stickers- this does NOT affect the sticker at all! You do not have to try to flatten it out before you apply to the wall, like someone said. The stickers are so very thin that the folding makes no impact. There are no fold marks because it is just rolled and slightly flattened to fit in the package. This is a non-issue though.

We put these up in our new house in our son's room (~18 months at the time). We scattered them across all the walls and doors, and he liked to search and point when asked where a particular vehicle (yellow taxi, ice cream truck, blue scooter, seaplane, etc) was. I love that they're not a commercialized character and have the styling of old-school wooden toys.

A++ product! We're very satisfied with our cars and trucks wall decals.

After perusing dozens of different styles and companies, we went for this set because we liked the illustrations the best of all the other options, and we liked the idea of being able to remove them cleanly if we ever left our rental apartment.

We paid about $10 for this set, and they would have been worth three times that much. An excellent purchase!

The cars and trucks are all fairly big, and look great up on our son's wall. They were easy to peel off the page, and easy to reposition upon the freshly painted wall. There was no paint removal or gummy residue left behind, and they were sticky enough to not peel or fall off again once repositioned. I wouldn't suggest moving them around frequently, but it's good for figuring out just where you want them to be.

The best part is that the illustrations are awesome. I really appreciate good children's books, and these were reminiscent of some of our favorites. My husband is very picky, and not often interested in children's toys, decorations, etc. But he was even excited about these decals, and told me to order a second copy.

Now, whenever someone comes to our house, my son drags them to his bedroom to show off his awesome cars pictures. :)

Buy them! You won't regret it.

I agree to most of the reviews, it's really cute, nice to look at, easy to apply. It's so cute that my 2 year old can't get his hands off them! He peeled them off the wall, it's great though that they cause no damage to the wall at all when peeled off, it's just that my son had more fun re-arranging and coloring on them :)

These are very charming and a perfect option for a non-branded room. My 3yo loves them, and so do I. They stick well and the fact that they are removable is wonderful. I'd buy this brand again. The sheets do have a strong vinyl off-gassing smell, but for some reason once they're on the wall they don't smell.

I purchased these vinyl transportation appliques to stick on the road we painted around my son's room. The road is black and the vehicles seem to fade into it the dark background. They do, however, look awesome against a lighter cream color on his wall.

These are great -- bright colors and so easy to put on/take off -- added a really nice touch to my son's room. My 18 month-old had a great time telling me the name of each of these vehicles and then watching me put them onto his dresser.

These stickers are awesome. They are much better than the picture. I placed 26 at random along my chair rail in my 2 1/2 yr old's room. I need one more set to complete it since the room is 15 x 17. I will be ordering the peel & stick border to put at the top below the crown molding. They work just like they said. You can place and take off as many times as you like to reposition or totally relocate. This set matches well with the Pem America Trucks at Work Quilt Set which is also much prettier and brighter than the picture. I recommend RoomMates for Kids 100%.
