so apparently these only work well on "smooth" walls, not ones that are slightly textured/bumpy like ours...
we put up the border last night, and a little part of it kept falling down, so we used some tape to hold it in place. seemed to work well enough. this morning the whole border was on the floor, would not stick to the wall, and part of it had to be thrown away because it was so stuck to itself. I'm thinking some wallpaper glue will work, but the whole point of us getting these were to brighten up our kids' room, without using anything permanent (we live in an apt and are moving soon). what a disappointment! so unless your walls are perfectly smooth, don't waste your money!
