This was my first dealings with peel/stick stencils, it was so easy, fast, and fun. Now I want to order more and put them all over my house. They look dynamite in my bathroom. The steam doesn't affect them at all. They just look so unbelievably good!! I'm still shocked at how easy and simple it was and then to turn out looking so fantastic.

It came in more pieces than I was expecting, although now that I have looked at the pictures again I see the one image shows the product as it arrives. I wish there had been a manual for the less than artsy people. I had to stick it all on the wall, remove and re-position each piece several times before I got it how I like it, and it still does not look as nice as the one they did in the demo picture. Overall I had a lot of fun, I did tear a few of the leaves, the ones that are longer pieces, with a main stem, but several smaller leaves and scroll pieces attached, when I would pull it off the wall, I would free the first leave, and then the second, and then the third, but they would then all be free-hanging, start to curl in and stick to themselves, and if I did not free each part of the leaf, and just tried to pull the piece off all at once I tore them a few times. BUT, the parts that stuck to themselves also unstuck, and as I got better at removing them while holding them apart from itself, and freeing each part as I went, it was more smooth sailing, and now that it is on the wall I am happy.

I was considering painting some designs on my bathroom walls but practice attempts on paper were not too successful. I saw these appliques and thought I would give them a shot...somewhat more expensive than paint but determined if I made a mistake I could just pull them off instead of scrubbing off a "mis-painted" design. Once you get the hang of it, the appliques are easy to apply and they cetainly give you a sufficient amount of product. I have used some other applliques (purchased on eBay) that were not "peel & stick". They were a disappointment and more difficult to apply and, of course, not easy to remove.
