When I first put on these stickers I looved the look and my 8 month old daughter squealed in delight at the owls, flowers and colors in general.
However, it was pretty hard to arrange everything in place without some amount of removal and re-sticking. The scrolly branches are very thin and so re-sticking did not work well and they started to peel off. So I thought, ok, maybe this would do better if someone could apply them at one go so maybe I am partly to blame. But the description and other reviews do lead you to believe that resticking is not an issue at all.
After a few days however, even the branches that I got right in the first go started to peel off. Granted my walls are not satin smooth, they have a very light grainy texture, but again the description leads you to believe that sticking is a problem only on heavy textured walls.
I would have given it a 1 star because I wake up every morning and have to run my hand over the branches to re-stick them which is such a pain. but I had to give them credit for getting the design right - it is delightful!!! Now they just need to work on a better glue for the sticker.

We purchased this for our 3 month old daughter. Thrilled with the price and product. Easy to apply and remove. I was able to put them up and if i didnt like the look i moved them around. It was fun being creative. it gives you instructions on where to apply each sticker but because of the room size that i was decorating i needed to move some of the tree limbs around. i made the tree taller and shortened the limb length. i also place the animals and flowers throughout the room to give it a more woodsy feel. Will definetly buy the same type of stickers again for when she gets older and wants to change her room around. Another benefit is we no longer need to repaint the room because these stickers add the color and energy that we were looking for. Would definetly recommend these to a friend. Great price compared to other sites we looked at.

Although this wall art decal is extrememly cute and versitile in the different ways you can apply it to the wall, it just DOES NOT stick. I have traditional throw-down texture on my walls, and they are painted with satin finish latex paint. In addition, I live in the Gulf Coast area of Southeast Texas where the humidity is always high. This could have something to do with it. I'm not saying these decals won't stick on any other walls in other climates, the pieces just wouldn't stick on mine. Bound and determined to make it work, I tried three different scenarios that would not damage the walls but would still allow me to use the decal. I tried (A) double sided tape, (B) Elmer's glue sticks, and (C) Elmer's Glue All all-purpose craft glue. All of these have water soluble adhesives, so I knew if it didn't work, I could just wipe the walls clean with a warm, wet rag. The tape did not work, the glue stick did not work, but the Elmer's Glue All DID work. You can't tell the pieces have been glued on the wall, and they have stayed up - we put the decal up on Sunday, it's now Wednesday and nothing has come off. Unfortunately, I will not be able to re-use the decal if we move (we are renting), so that's kind of disappointing, but at least I was able to find a way to make it work while we're in this house. I am using it for the nursery for the new baby girl we are having in a month, and it looks great against a cotton candy pink wall. Because we had to glue each individual piece, the whole process was very time consuming. I was disappointed that it didn't stick like it should have. Most houses have textured walls here in the U.S., and I think that keeps the decal from wanting to stick regardless of any other variable that may be (weather, climate, paint, etc.) I did read mixed reviews, so I decided to give it a shot anyway because it was so cute. I had a pretty good feeling it wasn't going to stick on it's own, and I was right. As we attempted to place the first piece of the trunk on the wall, it just slipped off as we smoothed over the remaining portion of it. I saw at the grocery store that Elmer's now makes a spray adhesive that's good for materials that are more delicate - that may work as well. If you have to do anything to help adhesion, don't plan on using the decal again in another room or home. Be prepared for a temporary decoration if this is your case. Thanks.
