Product Description

Mike works a dead-end job with Hector, a terrorist of the fast food industry; he pines for Kate, arm candy for the muscle-strapped Chad; and comes home day in and day out to an apartment ravaged by the activities of his roommate, a spy. He'd be fine with all this if only his roommate's girlfriend, Lucinda, would stop kidnapping him, and Candace, the girl who works across the street at the ear piercing place, would knock off all the sexual innuendo when she orders a burrito.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, enjoyable satire; a real talent here, October 9, 2009
This review is from: My Roommate the Spy (a short story from How You're Not Funny by Kennedy Weible) (Kindle Edition)
Weible's a talent waiting to be discovered. His stories are hilarious, cutting satires of the usual connections authors contrive. I haven't laughed as hard, or enjoyed a short story as much, in quite some time.

This was a cool story, kinda surreal. Weird cast of characters--Mike is the ultimate observer of Man.

No Pynchon? To add insult to injury, a Pynchon search brings up this sub-literate c***? Please.
