Personally I don't own this, but I have the Regular version on CD and I downloaded the other two songs. They are wonderful! Rooney is a great band with a hint of 70's, weezer and 'nu' rock.

The songs are original, the music can vary from Headbanging to toe-tapping. Its a wonderful track and I recamend it for people who are into rock, alternative popular [ex: Matchbox 20, No Doubt, All American Rejects], and anything in between.

1. Blueside - You start out with some great guitar and soon comes in some great voice. Very good for Partys! I love the anger the singer gets out in this one. 5/5 *****
2. Stay Away - I didn't like this much in the begining but what can I say? It grew on me. I like its uptown retro style! 3/5 ***
3. If It Were Up To Me - Def. one of my favrioutes on the track, it starts out slow and gets louder. The lyrics are funny and they really paint a comedy in your mind. 4/5 ****
4. Terrible Person - Same situation as above, its hilarious and wickidily devious. 4/5 ****
5. Pop Stars - Popstars brings out the worst of popstars, but the best of Rooney. Clever, and well thought out it tells the true story of the "unsophisticated money machines" with a loud rock and roll attitude. 5/5 *****
6. Shakin - I can't tell what the songs about but.. it sure is a great song to dance to. "I'm sh-sh-shakin" is a great hit. 4/5 ****
7. Daisy Duke - My favrioute song on the CD. It tells a kinky story of a secret affair. Beautiful and mastered by the powerful chords of 'nu' rock, this up beat piece of heaven rocks my world. 6/5 ******
8. Sorry Sorry - A sweet romantic flick, with a twist of electric guitars. 4/5 ****
9. That Girl Has Love - A sweet remorse of a girl that takes her own life, and the singer grieves through this. 5/5 *****
10. Simply Because - Short, unless you listen carefully because if you arn't you might miss it. But very good all the same! 3.5/5 ***.*
11. Losing All Control - I love the ending. Its a great song that reminds me of the beatles. 4/5 ****
12. Floor (Bonus Track) - From the first couple notes you are addicted. An ex-boyfriend talking about how he never loved her, its a party hit. ***** 5/5
13. Makes Some Noise (Bonus Track) - Three words: I love it. 5/5 *****

I had heard about Rooney before but what really got me listening to them was their apperance on The OC. I liked I'm Shakin' and decided to add their CD to my wish list. My friend sent it to me as a Valentine's Day gift and just arrived today and I love it! Their tunes are hard to describe, but they're not too heavy on the guitar, and their voices sound good when they sing together. If you like All American Rejects and/or Weezer then I suggest Rooney.

This is a great cd, its kinda blues with rock, but it is a nice mix, if you are chillin and need some good tunes pop this in and enjoy the ride.

The first time i saw Rooney, it was on the OC, and half my friends thought it was a made up band, so i went and found out about them, then bought the CD and it is the best ever!!! i am now getting every other rooney song i can find anywhere.
Seriously, listen to the lyrics, some of them are so deep and it like makes me cry.
To cut this really short, i srisouly recommend this CD as it has a great mix of songs, and together with Robert Carmine's HOT!!! voice, makes it the best CD

this rooney cd is just PERFECT! I never heard a music from then that is not good.

they are cool, espontaneous -and the vocal is sooo cute!!

i recomend baaadly this cd for everyone! if you don't like it, you must be completely insane! listen again cause' you probably didn't understand well the GREAT lyrics!

Rooney is AMAZING. Thier lyrics and music are great. By far the best band ever. I can listen to their CD for months and never get tired of it. There aren't even words to describe how good they are.. so you'll just have to hear for yourselves! They are seriously amazing and you really should buy this cd. You won't regret it!!!
