5.0 out of 5 stars Lord Have Mercy
As the Dead Milkmen once pointed out, if your store ain't got Mojo Nixon, then your store could use some fixin' - in other words, everybody needs a bit of Mojo in their lives!!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Stark raving naked in a fornication nation
This album features Mojo Nixon's usually brand of goofy rockabilly. His sense of humor is pretty juvenile, as evidenced by "Debbie Gibson is Pregnant With My Two Headed Love Child". Still, the album is sporadically amusing. But "(619)239-KING" is too obvious an attempt to duplicate the success of his most famous song, "Elvis is Everywhere". Two of the songs here,...

As the Dead Milkmen once pointed out, if your store ain't got Mojo Nixon, then your store could use some fixin' - in other words, everybody needs a bit of Mojo in their lives!!!!
At times almost reminiscent of Primal Scream's eulogy to narcotic road movie oblivion thrills 'Vanishing Point', this album will rip you outta your chair and set you on a frenzy of hot-wired moonshine-fueled shennanigans that you will never, ever recover from, and that ain't no word of a lie.
This album has something for everyone, from the family favorite 'Debbie Gibson is pregnant with my 2-headed love child', to the epic tear-jerker 'She's Vibrator Dependent'.
The first 100 customers to buy this cd will grow a new thyroid gland - guaranteed!

This album contains more sacreligious roadhouse music from the master. Make sure that you put yourself in a late-80s, early 90's frame of mind before listening to tracks like "Debbie Gibson Is Pregnant With My Two-Headed Love Child" and "619-239-KING" or you won't get the joke. "Chicken Drop", "She's Vibrator Dependent", and "I'm a Wreck" are timeless and funny. For fans of Mojo and Skid, this one rates as a must-have right behind the infamous "Bodacious".

Two of the songs here, "Tennesse Jive" and "Circus Mystery", are by Mojo's former partner, Skid Roper. I wonder whatever happened to that guy? Anyway, Mojo's fans should enjoy this album.
