Not to be missed. "Rootabaga Stories" and "Rootabaga Pigeons" are the most wonderful, magical flights of imagination that could ever be put on the printed page. Forget digital animation! Get back to a good book!Delight in Maud and Miska Petersham's illustrations! Yes, they are dated, but take in the detail - there is so very much animation in their illustrations, the characters (check out Blixie Bimber or the Potato Face)just jump off the pages - no need for Flash!!!
