5.0 out of 5 stars Joyful Manifestation, February 12, 2007
This review is from: Rooted in the Infinite: The Yoga of Alignment (Paperback)
Rebbie Straubing lends an entirely new slant on meditation with this book. She combines the chakra energies with three dimensional alignment of the mind, body, and spirit to help one bring about happiness, inner peace, health, and joyful manisfestation. This is the first book I've read that acts as a user's manual for integrating The Law of Attraction with one's meditation practice. Juicy, palpable prose make it a joy to read. It almost melts in your mouth. The excersizes at the back of the book are easy to do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant and Inspired!, February 1, 2007
This review is from: Rooted in the Infinite: The Yoga of Alignment (Paperback)
Rebbie's book truly is 'a ball of light in one's hand' (as the quote on the back cover says)! Her writing *moves* you, and triggers insights that shift your thinking radically. It also inspired me to begin meditating again after years of avoiding it.

I HIGHLY recommend 'Rooted in the Infinite'!

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy as x, y, z., May 7, 2007

Not only is "Rooted in the Infinite" a pleasure to read, it is enormously wise, clever, and useful. I especially like the concept of the three mutually perpendicular lines (so-called x, y, and z axes) which the author beautifully reasoned into existence for me, the reader. I've tried purposeful meditation before, but always grew restless or uncomfortable before much good could come of it. Using Dr. Straubing's imagery to feel the location of my root chakra and then to align these axes through it, clicks everthing else into balance and I am content to breathe quietly for 20 or 30 minutes, during which, and after which, I feel totally relaxed and deeply pleased with myself. The best kind of medicine!
That the author is informed and influenced by the teachings of Abraham-Hicks is evident, and personally satisfying to me.

5.0 out of 5 stars exceptional, November 10, 2008
This review is from: Rooted in the Infinite: The Yoga of Alignment (Paperback)
This book is not for the faint at heart. It is very deep, however one can understand it, and more importantly, apply it whether a novice at meditation and knowledge of chakras or an experienced practitioner. This is one of those rare books which begs to be read again and again; with every read getting more and more interesting. I love it, cherish it dearly, and would recommend it to those who are seekers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Aligned in Truth...a Process for Healing, August 10, 2007

"Rooted in the Infinite" is by far one of the most profound and easy to follow works on "how to" align oneself in Truth I have ever read! The process Dr. Straubing has developed provides just enough structure in the "how to prepare" for meditative healing without interferring with the wonderful mystery of the "ah-ha" of one's own experience. It is beautifully and creatively written and answers...YES! to the commonly asked question, "Can anybody do it?" It is truly Universal and undoubtably written with oodles of love! Thank you Dr. Straubing for sharing this work.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is an absolute must read!, January 16, 2007

I highly recommend this book to anyone who desires to find their "true-self". This is not just another book on meditation, but is a book that explains in detail the chakras within the body, their respective functions and how we can improve our "senses" through the use of the X-Axis, Y-Axis & Z-Axis to better align ourselves with our Higher Self (a/k/a The Creator, The Universe, etc). It is clear from the book that the author, Rebbie Straubing, has a clear understanding of the subject and projects the same in her book. I recommend this book highly!

I have studied different styles of meditation and aware of the many methods of meditation. This is not a book you read quckly. I have had this book over a 3 months and I am still only through a third of the book. I can tell you the arthor has knowledge of what she is talking about and breaks down complex ideas to understand. The reason I am slow to read, the author has provided numerous meditaton excercices that for one to accomplish, one must practice before going to the next step. Good book, highly recommended.
